Cortney Riley
PT, DPT
Dr. Cortney Riley has lived in New Jersey her whole life. She attended Drew University in Madison, NJ where she played field hockey and graduated with a degree in Biology and Spanish. Cortney speaks Spanish as her second language. After completing her undergraduate degree, Cortney then attended Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She worked for two years as an adjunct professor for Seton Hall at their Interprofessional Health Sciences campus in Nutley, NJ teaching an open lab class one night a week to first year students. Cortney is the owner and sole proprietor of CC Physical Therapy and Wellness that she founded in 2009 which provides home-based physical therapy, personal training, and consultations in wellness.
Dr. Riley developed her love of helping others at an early age learning from her mother who is an RN and oncology nurse. They have co-authored articles together on the benefits of exercise during the entire spectrum of cancer care. Cortney is also the mother of twins, a Boy Scout leader, and an active exerciser, particularly hiking, horseback riding, white water rafting, and working as a field hockey referee in the fall. In physical therapy, she has found a way to utilize all her life experiences, love of exercise, love of people, and sense of adventure to give people the tools they need to return to full activity, and be the best versions of themselves at any age.
